The Balblair 25 Year Old is a full-bodied indulgence. A velvety aroma of ripe apricot, liquorice, and toasted oak exudes from this whisky, matured initially in ex-bourbon casks, and then finished in Spanish oak butts. On the palate, one can discern notes of orange, praline, and fresh tobacco leaves. This whisky concludes with a warm, smooth finish marked by subtle hints of dark chocolate and tangy blood orange.
