Benriach's 16 Year Old Speyside single malt ("The Sixteen") has been aged in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and virgin oak casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, the nose brings honey, creamy hazelnuts and baked apples. On the palate, this medium-bodied dram delivers honeyed malt alongside cinnamon-baked apples and toasted oak. A delicate, medium-sweet whisky that highlights Benriach's talent for combining multiple cask types to produce a well-rounded and approachable expression.
