Macallan 1969 36 Year Old Murray McDavid Mission

This whisky was distilled in 1969 by The Macallan after 35 years maturing in oak casks. Bottled by Murray McDavid who selected the cask for release under their own label. The bottling strength of this whisky is 41% which is at the lower end of the scale for whiskies. Although these days many consumers are pushing for producers to bottle closer to 43% or 46% there are still some fine lower strength whiskies. Read more
